A new front deck and porch was constructed for our clients in Tootgarook on the Mornington Peninsula. The existing porch was slowly falling apart and our clients wanted to build a fresh new porch with decking, including creating a wider and longer porch, and moving the access stairs to the front. Pelawan timber decking boards were used instead of Merbau for this landscape construction project. These decking boards were chosen for their hard wearing and strength, our clients also loved the colour of the boards and wanted an alternative to the red colour of Merbau. The new decking and porch was created to ensure that it not only looked fabulous but was built to last. When it came to the roofing, the existing roof was replaced with Zincalume Corrugated Iron to ensure that even in the summer months, the adjacent living room would be kept cool without the suns rays beaming through. Our clients loved the end result and so do we! PROGRESS
