Our clients in Safety Beach wanted to add some privacy to their front courtyard and desired a landscape construction solution that complemented their existing modern rustic landscape design.
Our clients chose corten steel laser cut panels from Westernport Laser Cutting as they provided views onto the street and added curb appeal through their creative pattern design. We used 150 x 150 mm dressed Cyprus Posts to brace the corten steel panels and create a beautiful border to complete the look. Corten steel panels are a great creative option for use on coastal properties as the screens are designed to rust and can be used for fencing, outdoor screens or even as an outdoor metal art focal point. Our clients love the end result and so do we! We recently constructed a flat top natural cyprus picket fence for our great clients sloping corner property in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula. We love quality landscape construction and our clients loved their new front fence with entrance gate. Now their property is more secure and the fence adds curb appeal to their property. Win-Win! We recently installed a new picket fence and gates with an automatic swing system for a home in McCrae on the Mornington Peninsula. We constructed the 1.8 metre picket fence with capping using 70mm x 20mm cyprus pickets, 150mm x 50mm cyprus capping and treated pine sleepers and rails.
The line of the fence was slightly sloping so we installed each panel with a 100mm step down. Metal gates were wielded in our workshop and then were sent away to get powder coated. We also installed a letterbox into the fence. Once powder coated, the strong metal frame gate was cladded with cyprus pickets and hung. The whole fence and gate has been painted by the client and is just waiting for a top coat. Dean from Southern Peninsula Gates installed the automatic gate swing system which is the FAAC brand. Our clients love the security their new fence brings and the ease of their new automatic gate system. We recently constructed a standard paling fence on a not so standard property in Frankston. The property was situated in Frankston hot spot area, Oliver's hill.
The beautiful ocean views were counterbalanced with super steep slopes, sliding soil and the enquistive neighbours. This was definitely one of those landscape construction jobs that they don't include in the manual. The weather was great and moving the posts up the hill felt like we had signed up to a boot camp. With people walking and running up the adjacent stairs for exercise, it was heaven sent when the Mt Eliza junior boys Redlegs football club came across us in their training. The young, fit and very kind boys helped us move all our upright posts up the hill via the stairs, Paul Vosti the coach, you are an absolute legend! Tackling the steep slope was our greatest challenge. Moving the materials , digging holes and placing materials into position all became a bit trickier. We definitely had fun chasing our shovels, levels and posts from sliding down the hill. We dug the upright posts in deeper to give the fence more stability. When dealing with slopes like this, quality construction is even more important to ensure that the fence is built to stand the coastal elements. We got the job done in two days and we think it looks great. Thanks to everyone involved! |
