Our client in Dromana wanted a minimal and clean landscaping design solution for her new home build in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula. She was after a beautiful lawn for her grandchildren to play and landscaping construction solutions that allowed her to plant her favourite plants and grow a strong and healthy vegetable patch. The goal of the makeover was to maintain the original contour of the land and provide an outdoor space to relax and engage in her gardening hobby. A retained garden bed was constructed to allow our client to plant trees along her fence line and along her windows. The garden beds had old soil removed and were filled with healthy garden blended soil. Raised planter boxes were constructed using treated pine, then lined with plastic and filled with vegetable blend to support a strong and healthy vegetable garden. To allow a healthy and lush grass to grow we removed the old top soil which contained pollutants from the house build, and added 80-100ml of clean organic top soil for the grass. Eureka Kikuyu grass turf was laid from Strathayr. At the front of the property a curved path was constructed from the deck to an entrance gate. Steel edging was using to shape the path and Australian hardwood sleepers were used for the steps. The path was laid with Bairnsdale topping, and Crazy Indian Sandstone Pavers were used for the steppers. Our client is so happy with her green healthy lawn and her vegetable garden is growing beautifully. We are also providing a fortnightly lawn and garden maintenance program for her new landscaping to ensure that it's kept healthy and strong . Our client is delighted by her new outdoor space and loves getting outdoors and sharing it with her family and friends. Photos Before Photos After
